FAQ

What do you do as a recruiter?

We help companies find and hire the right employees for specific key positions.

What is the difference between a recruiter and an employment agent?

A recruiter is hired and paid by a company to search for employees in specific areas. An employment agent looks for suitable companies or positions for applicants.

Why don’t you place me as a candidate?

We are not employment agents, and for various reasons (including data protection, efficiency, quality), we cannot simply reverse our process to find suitable companies, industries, and positions for individual applicants.

How do you approach recruitment?

It is always a multi-stage process that starts with a company’s commission. This is followed by a discussion and consultation about the position or person being sought. Then, we work behind the scenes to find the right individuals for the role and the company until we have identified them.

Once we have qualified the interested applicants in terms of their experience, education, goals, wishes, and conditions, we introduce them into the client’s normal hiring process.

Typically, the client will conduct one or more interviews with the candidates and eventually make a job offer. If the candidate accepts this offer, we consider it a placement.

Of course, we are available to both sides during the hiring process to mediate questions or misunderstandings.

But even after a successful placement, the work does not end. Often, further support is needed.

How do you find applicants or candidates?

Through years of activity, we have built a broad and reliable network of contacts, which we naturally turn to first.

Then, we use relevant business and job networks like LinkedIn or Xing.

If these options do not yield results, as a third step, we directly approach potential candidates we have identified based on various criteria.

Which industries or areas do you cover?

We consider ourselves specialists, especially in technical fields such as construction, mechanical and plant engineering, electrical and security technology, building technology, and energy and environmental technology.

However, for our clients, we also work across industries in positions that are essential for the respective company. This can include positions in sales, commercial or legal areas, or even IT.

What are your terms?

We generally work on a success basis, and success proves us right.

This means: For a successful placement, we charge a fee of 25% of the placed candidate’s annual salary.

However, to give both sides some security at the time of commissioning or acceptance, we charge a deposit as a commitment, which is fully credited against the subsequent placement fee.

What guarantee do I get when hiring Kresek PB?

By commissioning us to fill a position in your company, we guarantee that we will work for you until you are satisfied with the result.

Additionally, in the unlikely event that it doesn’t work out later, you receive a replacement guarantee from us.

What does the replacement guarantee mean?

The replacement guarantee means that if you part ways with a placed candidate during the probationary period, or if they resign during this time, we will continue searching for a replacement until one is found and hired.

How do you differ from your competition?

You won’t find any job postings from us because we believe that applicants who respond to them can and should apply directly to the company.

Additionally, we never send unsolicited profiles or falsify them.

We also place great importance on personal contact with candidates and the exchange regarding their respective goals, wishes, and conditions.

Furthermore, it is important to us that the staff member who works with a company to find the right employees is also the one who contacts the applicants proposed for the role. This avoids friction and minimises misunderstandings.
